Pumpkin Update

Less then a week after buying the pumpkins I came home the the most horrid smell. It was like I had some sort of dead body hidden in the closet.
Turn out it was the pumpkin I had on the table that rotted from the inside out and had liquified on my table over night. It was pretty bad. I now have water damage to my table. When I picked up N's pumpkin and it swished in the inside leaving me to believe that it was also rotten. Bastards!!!
Pretty bummed. No pumpkin seeds this year. I am going to be making pies this week which makes me feel somewhat better. Halloween is my favorite holiday and we didn't even get trick-or-treaters.
