Fake Pumpkin Patch

A couple years ago a couple of friends and I went to get pumpkins. It was wonderful. We were taken out on a hayride to a far off field where the pumpkins were still on the vine. Three pumpkins cost us less then $10.

This year was different..

My fiance and I went to go get pumpkins last Sunday. We were in a little bit of a rush and ended up going to a place on the way to where our ultimate destination was. The field was small, you just parked and walked over. There were no vines. It was as if the pumpkins were placed and not grown where they were found. The worst part is that it cost $13 for two.

I felt like it was a a false experience. Did not like it one bit.

Halloween is my favorite holiday. I have always loved dressing up and being someone else for an evening. N is different. He doesn't like trying to come up with new identities. We made a bet last night. If I could name 15 Red Wings on the current roster then he would get dressed up for the costumed kickball game I planned for next Sat.

Found this online. Thought is was a little funny if not incredibly morbid. So yeah. I fought anorexia the summer between 8th grade and my freshman year. I used to run 7 miles a day and lost about 60lbs.
I got over it and to this day don't even count calories. I don't weigh myself anymore either.
I have over the years gained a lot of weight. I have become sick of constantly being the fat girl and began training for my first marathon. I hurt my right ACL in the last four weeks of training. I know that I should be proud of myself for going from dying running three miles to running 16miles straight with no problem. Still have my love handles but much healthier. You could literally see a difference in my body after each run. It is killing me not getting out there and jogging. I can't afford not to have my knees.
Going to start weight lifting with my leg in the hopes that it will help.
I already have my next marathon picked out.
Going for broke.

Weird family dynamics

Well.. At least pretending to work. I have actually gotten a lot of stuff done this morning.
Only one more hour and then I get to go home and spend the rest of the day with my boy.

Talked to mom last night and sis # 1. Things are heating up with grandma.

Rose is coming to town and I am sure she will side with Claire and Ann. Michelle and mom are doing all the work now with grandma and the rest have sided with gramps.

Both people are dying. Get over your pretty neurotic assholeness and just tend them while they are still kicking it. I find it disturbing.
